Rural AI Strategy Lab – Applications Now Open

As interest in generative AI accelerates across education, rural perspectives—representing more than 40% of U.S. school districts—are often less visible in national conversations. Yet rural schools bring unique strengths and navigate distinct constraints, making their experiences essential to understanding what practical, equitable AI-enabled work can look like in local contexts.

Led by FullScale in partnership with All4Ed, the Rural AI Strategy Lab will engage 12–15 rural schools and districts in a six-month, cohort-based learning experience beginning in early 2026. Participating teams will receive coaching as they identify a local need or opportunity and pilot AI-enabled approaches grounded in their community context. Teams will also receive a $4,000 stipend to support their engagement, and travel and registration will be covered for one team member to attend FullScale Symposium 2026.
